Battlefield 3 Class Guide – A Look At BF3 Classes And How To Use Them!

If you want to excel in Battlefield 3 then you need to know the classes inside out. Of course the game is all about teamwork but the more you know about the classes and how to use them the better you will do.

The main reason for this is strategy. If you know the maps that you are playing on multi-player for instance and you know the classes then you can pick the class that best suits the style of map.

Another reason is when you are just starting out if you just jump straight to the Engineer class then you might run into problems as I would call this a more advanced class.

For beginning players stick to Assault because although they are not that good with long range combat, you are good with mid to short range and you get a basic set of weapons that is pretty cool. We will be looking at customizing the weapons and the different load outs later.

For now let us run through the classes and at the end I will give you a video guide to help summarise so you can make the best choice to get started:

Assault Class: This is a good all-rounder class and you will be able to play in a few different ways. The main bonus of this class is that you can play like a nutcase and still rack up some kills if you are just starting out.
You will get the special skill to be able to heal your team and you should use this as you will get some bonus points quite easily with the healing. You also have your main weapons that consist of assault rifles.

Support Class: Suck at aiming and getting kills? Try support for a while! You can get a decent amount of points by laying down covering fire and that is really your role with this class. You do get a VERY high rate of fire but your bullets are not that damaging so stay at long distance and help your squad with this class.

Engineer Class – Master of vehicles and you get a rocket launcher! This class can make their own path as your rocket launcher will blow a hole in a building with ease! Focus on marking enemies and not letting them hide by destroying all cover!
Also focus on repairing vehicles and destroying the enemy vehicles to win with this class and get some handy bonus points!

Recon Class – Stay in the shadows and out of sight and snipe people. You also get a C4 pack with this class that is pretty cool!

So now you know a bit about the classes you just need to pick how you are going to play!
